One Big Family

Genesis 10:32 - "These are the clans that descended from Noah’s sons, sorted by nation according to their lines of descent. All the nations of the earth descended from these."

Picture this - you're at a family reunion and there are so many people that you can hardly keep track! Cousins, second cousins, even third cousins twice removed! It's like this in Genesis 10, where we get to peek at the world's biggest family reunion!

In this chapter, we see the families of Noah's sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth spread out and start new nations. It's a little like when you and your siblings or friends build different structures with your blocks, but you all started from the same set.

This verse reminds us that everyone on Earth is part of one giant family because we all descended from Noah's family. Isn't that amazing? The kid in your class, your neighbor, even someone living on the other side of the world - you're all family in God's eyes!
