Genesis 15: Kids
Believe in God's Promises
Genesis 15:6 - "And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith."
Hello there, future world-changer! Today we're jumping into Genesis 15. In this chapter, Abram (who would later be named Abraham) has a special chat with God.
Abram was feeling a bit down because he didn't have any children. Even though he was very old, God made a promise to him. God told Abram that he would have as many descendants as there are stars in the sky. Can you imagine that? More people than the stars we see twinkling at night!
Now, here's the amazing part - Abram believed God, even though it seemed impossible. Because Abram had faith in God, God considered him righteous.
Abram's story shows us that God's promises are true, even when it seems impossible to us. Maybe God has placed a big dream in your heart, like being a doctor, an astronaut, or a teacher. Just like Abram, you can have faith that with God, nothing is impossible!
So let's trust God and believe in His promises, just like Abram did. And who knows? Maybe one day you'll see that big dream come true!
