God's Protection On The Journey

Genesis 31:24 - "But the previous night God had appeared to Laban the Aramean in a dream and told him, 'Be careful about what you say to Jacob!'"

Today, we're turning our pages to Genesis 31. Here, Jacob, his wives, and children decided to leave Laban's house and return to their homeland. But Laban wasn't happy about this!

One night, while Laban was chasing after Jacob, God appeared to him in a dream. God warned him to be careful with what he said to Jacob. Isn't that incredible? God was protecting Jacob and his family, just like a superhero!

Sometimes, you might be scared, like when you're moving to a new school or trying out for a soccer team. But remember, just as God protected Jacob, He is with you too. He is like our Superhero, always looking out for us, even when we can't see Him.

Think about when you're playing a hide-and-seek game, and your friend helps you find the perfect hiding spot. Even if others can't find you, your friend knows where you are. That's just like how God protects us. He sees us, and He's always by our side, guiding us through our journey.

So, remember kiddos, whether you're starting something new or facing something scary, God is with you, protecting you just like He did with Jacob!
