Sharing with a Cheerful Heart

Genesis 43:34 - "Joseph piled their plates with food from his own table, but he gave Benjamin five times as much as he gave the others. So they feasted and drank freely with him."

Have you ever had a super fun dinner with your family? Lots of yummy food, and everyone sharing stories and laughing together? In Genesis 43, Joseph did just that with his brothers!

Joseph was the governor of Egypt, which means he had lots and lots of food. Instead of keeping it all to himself, he shared his food with his brothers, giving them plates piled high! But he gave his younger brother Benjamin even more - five times as much!

Just like Joseph, God wants us to share what we have with others. Maybe you don't have tons of food like Joseph, but you have things you can share too! Maybe it's your toys, your time, or even a smile. And here's the cool part: When we share with others, it makes them happy and it makes us happy too!

So remember, next time you're playing with your friends or spending time with your family, try to share something. You'll be showing them God's love, just like Joseph did with his brothers. And who knows, you might even have your own feast of joy and laughter, just like they did!
