Genesis 6: Kids
The Big Task and the Big Trust
Genesis 6:22 - "So Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him."
In Genesis 6, we meet Noah, who's given a BIG task. Imagine your teacher asking you to clean up the whole school playground. Sounds overwhelming, right? That's how big Noah's task was. God asked him to build a huge boat, an ark, to survive a great flood.
Our key verse says, "Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him." Noah didn't say, "But it's too hard," or "I can't do it." Instead, he trusted God and started working on the task.
Just like Noah, we can trust God when He asks us to do things. Maybe it's being kind to a new student at school or helping at home even when we don't feel like it. These might seem hard, but remember, Noah was just like you, and he trusted God and followed His instructions.
Imagine if Noah hadn't trusted God and built the ark? His story teaches us that when we trust God and follow His directions, good things happen.
Remember, God loves you so much and has good plans for you. When you trust Him, like Noah did, you'll see how wonderful His plans are!
