All Aboard the Ark!

Genesis 7:5 - "So Noah did exactly as the Lord commanded him."

Genesis 7 is like an adventure movie! Noah has finished building the ark and now it's time to board. Imagine moving day for Noah, but instead of moving to a new house, it's onto a giant boat with lots and lots of animals!

The key verse tells us, "So Noah did exactly as the Lord commanded him." What's really cool here is Noah's obedience. Just like you might listen to your parents when they ask you to do your homework, Noah listened to God's instructions.

Now, God might not ask us to build an ark, but He does ask us to listen and obey. Maybe that's sharing your toys with your little brother or sister, or being patient when you really want to rush.

Noah’s obedience kept his family and the animals safe. Similarly, when we listen to God, we also find safety and peace. Even if we're asked to do something that's a little tough or scary, we can trust God and remember that He always wants the best for us.

Remember, God loves you a whole bunch, and when we listen and obey Him, we're showing our love back!
