The Colorful Reminder

Genesis 9:13 - "I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth."

Genesis 9 is full of new beginnings. Noah, his family, and the animals step off the ark onto dry ground. God makes a promise, or a covenant, with Noah. And guess what? The sign of this promise is something beautiful and bright - a rainbow!

Just like seeing a rainbow in the sky makes us feel happy and awestruck, knowing that God is true to His word makes us feel safe and loved. Maybe you've made a pinky promise with a friend before. It feels good when you both keep your promise, right? God's promises are even better. They're like a big hug from a loved one.

Every time you see a rainbow, remember that it's God's promise to us that He will never again flood the whole earth. But it also reminds us of how faithful God is in keeping His promises. That’s the kind of love God has for us, strong and unending!

So next time when you spot a rainbow in the sky, remember, God's promises are as sure and beautiful as that colorful arch. Always remember, God loves you incredibly and He always keeps His promises!
