Genesis 5: Students
The Legacy We Leave
Genesis 5:24 (New Living Translation): "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away."
Have you ever wondered about the legacy you'll leave behind? As teenagers, it might seem too early to think about such things, but the reality is, we're already building our legacy every day through the choices we make and the way we live.
Consider Enoch, who is briefly mentioned in Genesis 5. The Bible doesn't say much about him, but it tells us one important detail: "Enoch walked with God." What an incredible legacy to leave! It didn't detail any great exploits or heroic deeds. Instead, it was his consistent, faithful walk with God that defined him and became his lasting legacy.
So, what legacy are you building? Remember, it's not about doing impressive things but rather about your relationship with God. Let's strive to live like Enoch, walking faithfully with God every day.
Pause & Pray:
1. Ask God to guide you in living a life that honors Him each day.
2. Pray for a deep, intimate relationship with God, just like Enoch had.
3. Ask God to help you impact others through your faithful walk with Him.
