Genesis 6: Students
Building an Ark in Your Life
Genesis 6:22 (New Living Translation) "So Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him."
Imagine you're in a group project, and your friends suggest taking an easier, less honest route to complete the assignment. What do you do? Recall Genesis 6 and Noah's obedience.
God commanded Noah to build an ark, a confusing task as there was no rain or flood. Yet, Noah obeyed fully. His obedience led him and his family to safety when the floods did come.
You too will encounter 'floods' - challenges, pressures, and temptations. It may seem more convenient to follow the crowd. But remember Noah. God's path may not be easy, but it leads to the ultimate reward.
God has given you His Word to guide you. It's your blueprint in every decision, even when it seems daunting or unpopular. Like Noah, build your life on obedience to God.
Embrace obedience as your ark. You may feel different or alone, but God's path leads to true safety and fulfillment.
Pause & Pray:
1. Ask God to strengthen your resolve to obey Him, even when it's challenging.
2. Seek His wisdom to discern right from wrong in every decision you make.
3. Pray for courage to stand against peer pressure and remain faithful to His Word.
